1. Service Overview

AI Coach is an artificial intelligence (“AI”)-powered parenting information service provided by MoDoc AI, designed to focus on educational aspects of child-rearing and non-medical health and wellness information. AI Coach is currently available in FeverCoach without a FeverCoach Premium subscription. The availability of free and paid features is described in the Application and is subject to the change-notification provisions in our Terms of Use. AI Coach may draw on educational content reviewed by physicians. This does not mean that each AI-generated response has been individually reviewed or approved by a physician or another professional. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate or incomplete.

The service’s primary purpose is to offer educational and informational content supporting the healthy growth of infants and children, with enhanced guidance on fever management based on MoDoc AI’s expertise.
Use of this service is not intended to and does not create a professional-client or doctor-patient relationship. If you need a doctor, or you think you do, please see one. Do not rely on AI Coach to function as a physician. It is not a physician nor does it try to be a physician nor is it qualified to act as one.

2. Service Scope

  1. General Parenting Information
    • Provides educational content covering topics such as child growth patterns, sleep schedules, age-appropriate nutrition guidelines, and developmental milestones.
    • Offers general tips and resources to help parents make informed decisions regarding everyday child care and child-rearing.
  2. Fever Management
    • Offers guidance focused on home-level fever care, helping parents understand which supportive measures can be safely managed at home, including proper temperature-taking techniques, and when it may be necessary to seek professional medical attention.
    • Leverages FeverCoach’s specialized expertise but does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
  3. Daily Health Q&A
    • Addresses common health and wellness related questions that arise during child-rearing, providing general educational responses.
    • If a query requires medical attention or a personalized diagnosis, the service may refrain from providing specific advice and recommend consulting a qualified healthcare provider.
  4. Reviewed Educational Content and AI Responses
    • The service may use physician-reviewed educational content as a reference. Review of source content does not constitute individual review or approval of every AI-generated response.
    • AI-generated responses may contain errors or omit relevant information. They are not a substitute for evaluation by a qualified healthcare provider.
    • Using the service does not establish a patient-clinician or professional-client relationship.

3. Service Limitations

This service does not provide:

  • Medical diagnosis or treatment
  • Prescriptions or medication recommendations
  • Telemedicine services
  • Medical consultations
  • Emergency services
  • Specific healthcare provider recommendations

4. Response Availability

The service does not promise an individual expert-verification result or a guaranteed expert-review turnaround time for AI-generated responses. Response availability may be affected by maintenance, service disruptions, or other technical conditions. For service support, contact support@modoc-ai.com. Do not wait for an AI response or a support reply if you need medical care.

5. Important Notice

  • This service is intended solely for educational purposes and cannot substitute for professional medical or healthcare services. Please do not rely on AI Coach to do more than it is able to do.
  • For medical emergencies, or for any situation that you suspect might be an emergency, immediately call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
  • If information provided by AI Coach conflicts with advice from your healthcare provider, always follow your provider’s guidance. If you are not sure whether your healthcare provider’s advice differs from the information AI Coach offers, ask your provider. If information provided by AI Coach conflicts with advice from your childcare provider (such as a teacher, doula, or babysitter), ask your healthcare provider’s advice.

6. Service Interruptions and Maintenance

  • The company may temporarily suspend services for system maintenance, equipment replacement, network issues, or other operational needs, with prior notice whenever possible. Sometimes, however, prior notice is not possible.
  • If prior notice is not feasible, notifications may be provided after the fact.

7. Disclaimer and User Responsibility

    • All information provided through AI Coach is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended as, and should not be construed as, medical or professional advice.
  2. No Substitute for Professional Care
    • The service does not replace a consultation with a licensed healthcare professional or other qualified advisor. Always seek personalized guidance from appropriate professionals for specific concerns.
  3. No Professional-Client or Patient-Clinician Relationship
    • Using AI Coach does not establish a doctor-patient or professional-client relationship.
  4. Limitations of AI-Generated Content
    • Depending on your question, the content provided may address health or medical topics in a general way. If you require personalized treatment or an in-depth evaluation, consult a qualified healthcare provider.
  5. Responsibility of Use
    • You are responsible for how you choose to use or implement the information provided, or to decline to use or implement it. If you have serious concerns about a child’s health, consult a licensed medical professional.
  6. Emergencies
    • For any emergency or urgent condition, or when you suspect you might be dealing with an emergency or urgent condition, immediately contact emergency services (e.g., call 911) or go to the nearest hospital.
  7. Modification of Terms
