1. Service Overview

AI Coach is an artificial intelligence (“AI”)-powered parenting information service provided by MoDoc AI, designed to focus on educational aspects of child-rearing and non-medical health and wellness information. This service is offered as part of FeverCoach+, MoDoc AI’s premium subscription plan that provides AI-generated responses supplemented by expert review. While certain features of FeverCoach+ may also be available in the free version of FeverCoach, the availability of these features is subject to change at MoDoc AI’s discretion. As part of the FeverCoach+ offering, the service includes input and review by professionals with expertise in fields such as child development, nutrition, parenting education and other relevant, health- and wellness-related disciplines. These professionals help foster the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated content within their areas of knowledge.

The service’s primary purpose is to offer educational and informational content supporting the healthy growth of infants and children, with enhanced guidance on fever management based on MoDoc AI’s expertise.
Use of this service is not intended to and does not create a professional-client or doctor-patient relationship. If you need a doctor, or you think you do, please see one. Do not rely on AI Coach to function as a physician. It is not a physician nor does it try to be a physician nor is it qualified to act as one.

  2. Fever Management
    • Offers guidance focused on home-level fever care, helping parents understand which supportive measures can be safely managed at home, including proper temperature-taking techniques, and when it may be necessary to seek professional medical attention.
    • Leverages FeverCoach’s specialized expertise but does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
  3. Daily Health Q&A
    • Addresses common health and wellness related questions that arise during child-rearing, providing general educational responses.
    • If a query requires medical attention or a personalized diagnosis, the service may refrain from providing specific advice and recommend consulting a qualified healthcare provider.
  4. Expert Verification
    • Offered because, while AI is a valuable source of information, it is still in its infancy, and for many questions it is desirable to have a human evaluate what AI furnishes.
    • Involves thorough review and validation of AI-generated responses by qualified professionals (e.g., healthcare providers, child development specialists, nutrition experts).
    • Confirms that responses adhere to widely accepted principles in parenting, child development, and related fields, promoting accuracy and reliability.
    • Maintains an educational emphasis—all guidance is instructional. None is diagnostic; none is a substitute for in-person evaluation by a licensed healthcare provider.
    • Some questions, particularly those requiring a medical diagnosis, treatment, or personalized medical advice, may not be addressed. In such cases, users are advised to consult a licensed healthcare provider.
    • No patient-clinician or professional-client relationship is established through this verification.

3. Service Limitations

This service does not provide:

  • Extended Delays: Service disruptions, system maintenance, power failures, or other exceptional circumstances may cause longer processing times. If verification exceeds 12 hours, please contact customer service at support@modoc-ai.com.
  • 24/7 Efforts: While we strive to maintain continuous availability, the service may be temporarily suspended under unavoidable circumstances.

5. Important Notice

6. Service Interruptions and Maintenance

  • The company may temporarily suspend services for system maintenance, equipment replacement, network issues, or other operational needs, with prior notice whenever possible. Sometimes, however, prior notice is not possible.
  • If prior notice is not feasible, notifications may be provided after the fact.
